Elda Helen (Frulla) Ruopp, age 90, formerly of Brookfield, died on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 in Suffield, Ct. She was the wife of the late Edward Anton Ruopp.
Mrs. Ruopp was born in Ridgefield, CT on December 14, 1913, a daughter of the late Alessaro and Rose (Catalani) Frulla. She was raised in Ridgefield and moved to Brookfield in 1957. Mrs. Ruopp enjoyed gardening in her wonderful flower gardens and was an accomplished painter working in both oil and water colors. She was a longtime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Danbury. Mrs. Ruopp enjoyed being with her family and will be missed by her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Ruopp is survived by 2 daughters: Joann Calnen and her husband Gerald of Enfield, Donna Kuhl of Westford, MA; a son: Robert Ehrhard and his wife Marilyn of Anderson S.C. and Otis, MA; 2 sisters: Pauline Moylan of Ansonia, CT, Augusta Brusca of Ridgefield; and a brother: Alex Frulla of Ridgefield; 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters Mary and Quinta Montesi and a brother Armando Frulla, and a son-in-law, Raymond Kuhl. Funeral Information
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2004 at 10:30 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Danbury. Interment will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 pm to 8:00pm at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury. Donations Information
