Robert A. Ruscoe, 62, of Danbury, husband of the late Patricia (Uva) Ruscoe, died unexpectedly at Danbury Hospital on Monday, August 23rd. He was born in Norwalk on April 2, 1942, son of the late Charles and Eleanor (Palasko) Ruscoe. He was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1960.
Mr. Ruscoe was an ASE Master Technician, retiring from Robert Buick after 20 years of employment. Prior to that he worked for Wilton Motors and Bob Sharp Nissan.
He was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. He enjoyed membership in the Mid Atlantic Fiero Owners Association and the New England Fiero Association. He loved to travel throughout New England and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Atlanta Braves.
He will be sadly missed by his two sons, Jon M. Ruscoe and his wife, Bonnie of Virginia and Patrick R. Ruscoe, Sr. and his wife, Michelle of Naugatuck; his daughter, Michele A. Ruscoe and her fiancé, David Nuzzaci of Danbury; He is also survived his four grandchildren, Tyler, Erika, and Patrick Ruscoe, Jr., and Brianna Went; his two brothers, Willis Ruscoe of Delaware and James Ruscoe of Peru, NY.; and his longtime companion, Barbara Jannetty of Naugatuck. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles Ruscoe, Jr. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 27th at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury, at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Thursday, August 26th between the hours of 4 and 7pm.
