Charles T. Sailer Jr.
August 08, 1953 - December 14, 2005
Charles T. "Chachi" Sailer, Jr., 52, of South Street, Bethel, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 14th. He was born in Danbury on August 8, 1953, son of Charles T. Sailer, Sr. of Florida and Joan (Montesi) Wixon and her husband, George, of Danbury. He owned and operated Sailer's Boat and Car Detailing.
Mr. Sailer was a loyal, generous, kind and loving son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved his little granddaughter, Angelina, spending every moment he could with her. He loved playing football with his nephew Cody. He loved and enjoyed spending most of his time with his family and gardening with his sister Holly. He would do anything for his family. He was the life of the family gatherings and loved to entertain with his drum set and his sense of humor.
He was also a Red Cross Certified Life Guard at Danbury Town Park.
He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Ivy Sailer of Waterbury; his son, Christopher T. Sailer of New Milford; his granddaughter, Angelina Marie Torres; his sisters, Holly Gillotti and her fiancé Smitty Adams of Danbury, Jessica Tomlinson and her husband Laoren of Kent, and Jacqueline Sigmon and her husband Blake of New Zealand. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, Amber Okenquist, Elijah Sigmon, Jonathan Tomlinson, Holly Colon, Cody Gillotti and Kara-Mia Colon. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, December 19th at 11:00am. Burial in Wooster Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home between 10:00 - 11:00am on Monday morning.
