James J. Scaccia, age 58, of Brookfield, died suddenly in Danbury on February 13, 2008. He was the devoted husband of Ellen (Lichack) Scaccia. Mr. Scaccia was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 7, 1949 a son of the late Marie (Argo) Scaccia.
He was a Danbury area business man for over 30 years. Four years ago, he opened his own business in Danbury, The Mortgage Depot.
In addition to his wife, Ellen, Jim is survived by a son: Jesse Scaccia of Ridgefield; 2 daughters: Tierza Scaccia of Chicago and Jamie Scaccia of St. Louis, MO; 2 sisters Joan Wilmouth of Virginia and Jackie D'Agostino of NY; a stepdaughter: Stacey O'Neil of New Milford, a stepson: John O'Neil of Bethel; and 5 step grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his twin sister, Tony and his brother Terry D'Agati. Funeral Information
A Graveside Service will be held at St. Mary Cemetery on Friday, February 22nd at 10:00am.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield on Thursday, February 21st between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm. Donations Information
