Emilia Scalzo
January 26, 1917 - June 28, 2007
Emilia (Gilgliotti) Scalzo, 90, of Meadow Street, Danbury, Danbury, wife of the late Antonio Scalzo, died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, June 28th. She was born in San Bernardo Decollatura, Italy, on January 26, 1917, daughter of the late Carmine and Maria Theresa (Molinaro) Gigliotti.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons Felice Scalzo and his wife, Sara of Danbury, Elio Scalzo and his wife, Linda of Danbury; and her daughter, Maria Perri and her husband, Johnny of Toronto, Canada. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tony, Johnny, Lisa and Michael Scalzo, Antonella and Reno Perri; her ten great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 2nd at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, July 1st between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
