Grace (Montesi) Scattolini, 91, formerly of Meadow St. Danbury, wife of the late Evo J. Scattolini, died at Glen Hill on May 15, 2008. She was born in Danbury on August 8, 1916, daughter of the late Eugeneio and Caroline (Saccomandi) Montesi.
Mrs. Scattolini worked as a trimmer for Frank H. Lee Hat Company for many years. She was a very talented needle worker.
She was a member of the New Milford Senior Center.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Nicholas Scattolini of Oxford; her daughters, Carolyn Critelli and her husband, Fred of New Milford, and Linda Culhane and her husband, Gary of Brookfield; eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Morris Montesi, of Danbury; her sisters, Anna Tarsi, Mary Miller, and Rose Rishdan, all of Danbury; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Glenn Critelli; her great grandson, Peter Goral; her sisters, Molly Massif, and Josephine Forgione; and her brother, Eugene Montesi, Jr. Funeral Information
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 23rd at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Donations Information
