Lillian Eng Bologna
March 18, 1952 - February 24, 2006
Lillian Eng (Wong) (MacIntyre) Bologna, 53, of Gladstone, MO., formerly of Danbury, wife of the late Nicola Bologna, died unexpectedly at her home on Friday, February 24th. She was born in Danbury on March 18, 1952, daughter of Fay Suit (Kwan) Wong and the late Mon S. Wong.
Mrs. Bologna worked for the Danbury News Times as an accountant in the circulation accounts receivable department for 8 years. She was a past member of St. James Episcopal Church. She was a former vice president of the Woman's Bowling League at Bowlarama. She also loved to play Bingo and enjoyed the company of her family and friends. She participated in many charities including the Katrina Relief Fund.
In addition to her mother, Fay Wong, of Danbury; she is survived by her two sons, Bruce C. MacIntyre, Jr. and his wife, Missy, of Danbury and Mon A. MacIntyre of New York, NY; her daughter, Sasha A. Barata and her husband, Joseph of New Fairfield; her five grandchildren, Kristopher, Abagail, and Krystal MacIntyre, Cynthia and Emily Barata. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Diana Wong of Rochester, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Danny E. Wong. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, March 12th at 4:30pm.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday between the hours of 3:00 and 5:00pm. Donations Information
