Obituary of Sandra Jean Schroder

Sandra Jean Schroder September 08, 1942 - March 08, 2006 Sandra Jean Schroder, 63, of Long Meadow Hill Road, Brookfield, wife of Roy Schroder, died at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, March 8th. She was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont on September 8, 1942, daughter of the late Evelyn White. Mrs. Schroder was a homemaker who lovingly maintained the family home. She was very active in St. Joseph Church in Brookfield. She was also active with the Republican Town Committee and the Ladies Auxiliary Fire Department in Brookfield. She served on the Board for the Brookfield Library. In addition to her husband of 39 years, Roy, she is survived by her son, Scott Schroder of Danbury; her brother, Alvin White of Bethel; her sister, Leona Berlind of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 14th 10:00am at St. Joseph Church Brookfield. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Monday, March 13th between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm.
