Paul J. Serwacki age 63 of Tower Road, loving husband of Jeanne (Kunic) Brookfield died on January 26, 2005 at Danbury Hospital following a lengthy illness. Mr. Serwacki was born in Haverville, MA. on September 18, 1941 the son of the late Joseph and Stella (Bekszia) Serwacki.
Upon graduating high school Paul went on to attend the Western Connecticut University where he obtained his bachelors degree in business. In 1965 he married Jeanne Kunic and they spent many wonderful years together raising their daughter Diana.
Paul served with the United States Marines during peacetime. He worked as a Production Control Supervisor for Amphenol, where he was employed for more than 35 years. He later retired as a Security Officer from Securita after seven years of employment. He was a Southbury Police Auxiliary Officer for twenty-eight years.
Paul was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield. He was a member of the American Legion Danbury Post. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, model cars and planes.
He was a quiet but strong man, intelligent and filled with a determination to finish any task he took on.
In addition to his wife of 39 years, he will be sadly missed by his daughter, Diana Gordon and her husband Steve of Pennsylvania; his grandson, Tyler Joseph Gordon; and his sister, Joan Cadorette and her husband Norman of New Hampshire. He was predeceased by his infant son, Paul Serwacki, Jr. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Tuesday, February 1st, at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
