Eleanor L. Settanni

Eleanor L. Settanni, age 81, of Old Hawleyville Road, Bethel, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 13th. She was born in Danbury on February 25, 1927, daughter of the late Wheeler and Annabelle (Silk) Davis.
Ellie was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted herself to her family. She was a kind and generous person who enjoyed supporting various charities including the Dorothy Day Hospitality House and the Salvation Army.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Dan Settanni and his wife, Marlene, Stephen Settanni, Lorraine Settanni, and Melody Geriak, all of Bethel; her grandchildren, Andrea Sarra and her husband, Jon, Daniel Settanni and his wife, Sarah, Nicholas, Matthew, and Kimberly Pavlinsky, Allison Bell, Rob and Adam Geriak; and two great grandchildren. She is also survived by her three brothers, Wheeler and Norman Davis, both of Bethel, and David Davis of New Milford; as well as nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.
She was predeceased by her son, Paul Settanni. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, January 17th at 7:30pm. The family will receive friends between the hours of 5:00 and 7:00pm.
A spring burial will take place in Center Cemetery, Bethel. Donations Information
