Emma (Esposito) Bonner
November 27, 1922 - September 21, 2006
Emma "Meme" (Esposito) Bonner, 83, of Candlewood Park, Danbury, wife of the late Omer Bonner, died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, September 21st. She was born in Carbondale, PA., on November 27, 1922, daughter of the late Frank and Peppina (Cerra) Esposito.
Mrs. Bonner worked as an inspector for Barden Corporation in Danbury and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW, Post 149. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished time spent with her family. She was very proud of her two sons and their accomplishments in the Danbury Fire Department, Local 801.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Charles Bonner and his wife, Sharon of Myrtle Beach, SC, and David Bonner and his wife, Judith of Danbury; her three beloved grandchildren, Tara, Matthew and Kate Bonner; and her sister, Frances Jochnevich of Danbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sisters, Angeline Kouhout, Rose Pascuzzi, Teresa Iasiello and Marietta Esposito; and brothers, James and Anthony Esposito. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, September 25th at 10:00am. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday evening between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
