Madeline R. Skelly
January 23, 1904 - February 14, 2005
Madeline R. Skelly age 101 formerly of Main Street Danbury wife of the late Charles Skelly died on February 14, 2005 at New Milford Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Skelly was born on January 23, 1904 in Danbury daughter of the late Walter and Julieanne (O'Connor) Rielless.
During her early years Madeline graduated from Danbury High School and went on to study teaching at The Connecticut Normal School now known as Western Connecticut University. Madeline worked for the Tweedy Silk Mill before retiring after 25 years of service at the New York Bake Shop.
Madeline will be remembered as a loving and mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She loved traveling in her spare time and visiting her family.
Madeline will be sadly missed by her four sons: Steven Skelly, John Skelly, Walter Skelly and Michael Skelly. Two Daughters: Julie and her husband Michael DeBonis and Kathy Mazinski. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great children. Mrs. Skelly is preceded in death by two of her children, Margret Walstrom and Charles Skelly. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph's Church in Danbury on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 10:00AM. Interment will follow at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury. There will be no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home in Danbury is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
