John James Slink

John J. Slink, 55, of Juniper Lane, Brookfield, devoted husband of Marjorie "Marby" (Hughes) Slink, died on Wednesday, April 7th at the Danbury Hospital. He was born in Greenwich on July 24, 1948, son of Yolanda M. (Bria) Slink and the late Joseph J. Slink. He was a graduate of Greenwich High School, Class of 1967, and received his Associates of Science from Norwalk Community College.
John and his family made their home in the Brookfield community for the past twenty years. He was a man who loved life, and lived each moment to the fullest. He loved his Harley, skiing and golfing. He worked as an engineer and was V.P. of Sales & Engineering for Jerhel Plastics, Inc. in Bayonne, NJ for more than 17 years.
Besides his mother of Riverside, CT., and wife of 33 years, he will be sadly missed by his son, Derek J. Slink; his daughter, Kimberly Slink and her fiancé, Ethan Britto, all of Brookfield. He is also survived by three brothers, Steven of Riverside, Gary and his wife, Susie, of New Milford, and Donald of Riverside; his sister, Karen Rastelli and her husband Robert of Clark, NJ.; as well as several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, April 10th 5:30:00pm. Friends may call between the hours of 4:00 and 5:30pm. Donations Information
