Obituary of June Mary Snowdon

June Mary Snowdon June 09, 1937 - December 08, 2006 June Mary (Shirer) Snowdon, 69, of Deer Run Road, Bethel, wife of the late James Snowdon, died at Danbury Hospital on Friday December 8th. She was born in Canal Zone Panama on June 9, 1937, daughter of the late Lewis and Winifred (Heaney) Shirer. Prior to moving to Bethel, she made her home in New Fairfield for more than thirty years. Mrs. Snowdon worked as a management coordinator for Boehringer Inglehiem, retiring in 2002. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who devoted most of her time as a caregiver to her family. She loved cooking and especially enjoyed making the holidays special for her family. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Tracey Rullo and her fiancé, Guy Miglinas of New Fairfield; her son, Justin Snowdon and his wife, Yvonne of New Milford; her four grandchildren, Paige and Alexis Rullo, Jack and Caroline Snowdon. She is also survived by her brother, William Shirer of California; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00am at the Congregational Church of New Fairfield with Reverend Pat Nichols officiating. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm.
