Obituary of Frank Sproviero

Frank Sproviero November 18, 1927 - April 27, 2005 Frank Sproviero, age 77, of Brookfield died on April 27, 2005 at Danbury Hospital. He was the loving husband of Mary A. (Basile) Sproviero. Mr. Sproviero was born in Rovito Cosenza, Italy on November 18, 1927 a son of the late Salvatore and Cristina (Gualtieri) Sproviero. He immigrated to America in 1950 settling in Bethel; eleven years ago, he and his wife moved to Brookfield. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Besides his wife of 53 years, Mr. Sproviero is survived by three brothers: Mario Sproviero of Italy, Luciano Sproviero of Bridgewater, Michael Sproviero of Bethel; a sister: Gilda Bennardo of Bethel; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 2, 2005 at 10:00 in the morning at St. Joseph's Church, Brookfield. Entombment will be in the Wooster Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, 2005 from 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon and from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd., Brookfield.
