Adeline Stein
April 25, 1911 - October 23, 2003
Adeline (Fisher) Stein, formerly of 17 Cleveland Street, Danbury, wife of the late Ernest Stein, died on October 23rd at Bethel Health Care Center. She was born in Danbury on April 25, 1911, daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Bessie (Osborne) Fisher. She attended Danbury schools and was a lifetime member of the community.
Mrs. Stein was a retired cafeteria manager for the Danbury School System and also worked for many years at Hobson & Botts in Danbury. She was a member of Central Christian Church, and was an active member in the Myrtle Rebekah Lodge, both in Danbury.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Richard Stein and his wife, Louise, of New Fairfield and her daughter, Nancy St. Jean and her husband, Fred, of Eldorado Hills, CA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Mike St. Jean, Audrey Solino, Cindy Mott, and Cheryl Reiner; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at 2:00pm. With burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Brookfield. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday between the hours of 1 and 2:00pm. Donations Information
