Gertrude M. Such, 82, of Starr Avenue, Danbury, died at Bridgeport Hospital on Tuesday, November 30th. She was born in Frankfurt, Germany, on September 27, 1922, daughter of Karl and Bertha (Young) Willrich. She was educated in New York.
Gertrude worked for in export shipping for American Cyanamide. She volunteered for Danbury Hospital and enjoyed playing cards, traveling, crocheting, and knitting. She also enjoyed bowling in a local league.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Emil R. Such of Danbury; her granddaughter, Tracy Such of New Milford; her grandson, Ryan Such of Danbury. She is also survived by her brother, Henry Willrich of Danbury and two sisters, Charlotte Farrel of Hawaii, and Margaret Dominski of Nevada; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, December 11th at 11:00am. There are no calling hours. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Donations Information
