Edward A. "Eddie" Taylor, 50, of Danbury, devoted husband of Christine "Chrissy" (Holick) Taylor, died at Yale New Haven Hospital on Saturday, March 26th. He was born in Danbury on October 5, 1960, son of Joan (Rassmussen) Taylor and the late Donald Taylor.
Eddie worked as a tractor trailer driver for M&M Precast for more than 20 years. Most recently, along with his wife, they founded their own trucking company, Sons of Thunder Transportation, LLC. Other businesses owned by the Taylors include, a catering company, The Rack Shack specializing in BBQ, and Won Nation Under God, selling Christian merchandise.
Eddie is a devoted husband who loves his family and church family. He and Chrissy are active members at Faith Church in New Milford and have volunteered in countless ways to support their awesome church family for the past 11 years.
He and his wife founded Lost and Found International, Inc. in 2008.
In addition to his cherished wife Chrissy of 20 years, and his mother, Joan Taylor of Danbury, Eddie adores his two daughters, Nicole and Tiffany Taylor; his "daughters," Tracey Stowe Buckley, Melanie Pagan, Angela Lee and Rosanne Waters, Denise Stack, and Marci Beach; and his grandchildren. He's also loved by his brother, Donald Taylor and wife, Gina of New Milford; and his two sisters, Wendy Yoder and her husband, Michael of New Milford, and Cindy Flanagan of Danbury; cherished by his mother-in-law, Shirley Holick, brothers-in-law, Mark Holick and wife, Allison, Kevin Holick and wife, Jackie, Steven Holick and wife, Kathy; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Eddie was very close with his father-in-law, George Holick, who passed in January.
Chrissy would like to give special thanks to Senior Pastor Frank and his wife, Lisa, the Men's & Women's Ministry, my Praise Sistas, and all the other Pastors and congregation that have stood with us with their prayers and support, and even friends that don't attend a church. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 9th at 9:00am at Faith Church, New Milford with special friend and Pastor, Dan Totilo officiating and mom Louise Totilo, you're the best, much love to you.
