Catherine R. "Kay" Taylor, age 90, of Danbury, wife of the late Arthur H. Taylor, Sr., died at Danbury Health Care on Tuesday, January 22nd. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 23, 1917, daughter of the late Ludwig and Loretta (Boyle) Armbruster.
Catherine was a devoted wife and mother who lovingly maintained the family home. She was a member of AARP and the Classmates and Over 60 Club in Bethel.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Arthur Taylor, Jr and his wife, Tomiko of Palm Coast, Fl, and James E. Taylor of Ormond Beach, Fl; her two daughters, Catherine Bennett of Danbury, and Elizabeth Anderson and her husband, Robert of Danbury; her twenty-seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Ludwig Armbruster of Venice, FL, and Christian Armbruster of Goshen; her sister, Mathilda Aquistapace of Venice, Fl, as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday, January 28th between 10:00 and 11:00am. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial in Wooster Cemetery will follow.
