Sheila Ann Thorne
January 21, 1961 - June 11, 2009
Sheila Ann Thorne, age 48, of Danbury, cherished companion of Larry Davis, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, June 11th. She was born in Norwalk on January 21, 1961, daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Lowden) Thorne.
Sheila worked as a dietary aide for Hancock Hall in Danbury. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. All who knew and loved her will remember her loving, openhearted nature, and generosity.
In addition to her companion, Larry, she will be sadly missed by her five daughters, Crystal Miller of Naugatuck, Sheila "Baby Doll" Miller, of Danbury, Ann Marie Mazza and her companion, Rocky Moreira of Danbury, Sara Mazza and her companion, Angel Martinez of Danbury, and Cheyenne Davis of Danbury; her beloved grandchildren, Hector Perez and DeMia Moore. She is also survived by her three brothers, Robert Thorne, Jr. and his wife, Maxine, John Thorne, and Eugene Thorne; her six sisters, Brenda Fitzgerald and her husband, Jim, Debbie Arroyo and her husband, Marty, Bonnie Jones and her husband, David, Eva Thorne and her companion, Brian Dube, Gertrude Thorne, and Cindy Thorne; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friend, Doreen Marks and her companion, Tim. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Monday, June 15th between the hours of 10:00am and 12:00pm. Donations Information
