Erma L. (Schutzenberger) Todt, 86, of East Hayestown Road, Danbury, wife of the late Raymond Todt, died on Thursday, February 5th at the Danbury Hospital. She was born in Lawrence, MA., on July 18, 1917, daughter of the late Kurt and Gertie (Wenzel) Schutzenberger.
Mrs. Todt made her home in Manchester, NH., prior to moving to Danbury two years ago. She was a hairdresser for Gertie's Hair Salon for more than twenty years. She was active in the New Hampshire Republican Party, was a member of AARP and enjoyed sewing.
Mrs. Todt was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be sadly missed by her daughter, Erma Raye Mannion and her husband, Brien, with whom she made her home; her two grandsons, Tod B. Bowers of Danbury, Ronald T. Bowers and his wife, Samantha of New Milford; three great grandchildren, Julia, Kimberly and Ty Bowers, all of New Milford. She is also survived by an aunt, Betty Wenzel of Manchester, NH.; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home, Manchester, New Hampshire at 11:00am on Friday, February 13th. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, is in charge of local arrangements. Donations Information
