Florence E. (Manualla) Toscano, age 94, of Stadley Rough Road, Danbury, wife of the late Michael A. Toscano, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, October 21st. She was born in Bridgeport on October 1, 1915, daughter of the late Anthony and Anna (Montalbano) Manualla.
Mrs. Toscano worked as a supervisor for Automation Industries in Danbury, retiring after 26 years. Prior to that she was employed by General Electric for 20 years. She was a long- time parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church.
She will be sadly missed by her three children, Ralph A. Toscano of New Milford, Marie E. Toscano-Saviano of Danbury, and Michael R. Toscano of Danbury; her eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Peter T. Davis of Punta Gorda, Florida; her sisters: Pauline Rich of Birmingham, Alabama, and Josephine Breaux of Ridgefield, CT; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her two sisters, Carol Ronca, and Marian Pascucci and brother, Tyrus Davis. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 31st at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, October 31st between the hours of 9:00-10:30 a.m.
