Alfredo and I would first like to extend our deepest sympathies to Aunt Barbara, Rick, Randy, and Robert. We will keep you all in our prayers that the Lord fill you with comfort in the weeks and months ahead.
I have been contemplating how to express my feelings about Uncle Richard for days now. My memories of him from childhood are of a man who was big and strong but at the same time had a gentleness about him. I felt protected near him.
Throughout my life, even though we didn�t see each other often, I always felt like there was a silent connection between us. I knew that if I needed him he was only a phone call away. In recent years, he was often my confidant and advisor. He would call the funeral home for business and listen to whatever trouble I was having and advise me in a way that was so natural for him. No matter what the topic, each call ended with an I love you. I will miss him very much.
