Fannie Marie Tremont

Fannie Marie Tremont, age 96, of Skyline Drive, Brookfield, wife of the late Charles E. Tremont, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, October 18th. She was born in Danbury on August 25, 1913, daughter of the late Michael and Filomena (Cambino) Januzzi.
Fannie lived and worked in Danbury and Brookfield, all of her life. She loved being a mother and raising her four daughters. She treasured time spent gardening and tending to her flowers. Her home was a garden of beautiful flowers.
She enjoyed traveling, crossing the United States twice, and loved the Lake George Region. Her other hobbies included miniature golf, fishing, making jewelry and shopping.
Fannie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lorraine Miller and her husband, Daniel, Carol Pettit, and Valerie Tremont; her grandchildren, Ted (Mindy) Pettit, Holly (Dave) Hample, Penney (Dave) Wedd, Glenn (Diana) Tremont, Mark (Mary) Hancock, Robin (Brett) Cathline, Debbie Tyer, Sherry Fefee, Corie Tremont, Kathy (Charlie) Thomson, Daniel (Kyle) Miller, David (Karen) Miller, Bruce (Leita) Miller, and Kristy Miller; her great grandchildren, Ted, Christopher, Ashlie, David, Amanda, Meghen, Ashley, Jamie, Tabitha, Craig, James, Amy, Amber, Finezia, Saskia, Meilin, Jesse, Sheena, Nicole, Tyler, Stacey, Shawn, Brad. Jamie, Jordon, Juilian, Daynia, Kaylia, and Raychael; and her great great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Christian, Delmar, Kiara, Sydney, Avary, Nicholas, Amber, Alex, and Gabriel; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Hancock; and her granddaughter, Gail (Hancock) Zaleta. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, October 24th at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening between the hours of 4:00 and 7:00pm.
