Obituary of Madeline M. Tuennecke

Madeline M. Tuennecke August 04, 1939 - June 05, 2005 Madeline M. Tuennecke, age 65, of Brookfield died in Danbury Hospital on Sunday, June 05, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Frederick C. Tuennecke. Mrs. Tuennecke was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 4, 1939, a daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Nicholes) Macchia. She graduated from Adelphi University with a B.S. in Business Administration. She retired from Hegarty Real Estate in November of 2004 after working for 12 years as an office administrator. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. During her years there, she was actively involved in Precanna, St. Joseph's Council, and as a Eucharistic Minister. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Besides her husband of 42 years, she is survived by two daughters: Karen Howe and her husband Timothy of Brookfield and Lauren Hess and her husband Joseph of Damascus, MD; and a son: Eric Tuennecke of Brookfield; 5 grandchildren: Amber and Erin Howe; Brendan, Michael, and Dominic Hess; a sister: Corinne Crea and her husband Frank of Northport, FL; a sister-in-law- Irene McGrath of Levittown, NY; and four nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 8, 2005 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, Brookfield. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Newtown. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 7, 2005 from 2:00 - 4:00 and from 7:00 - 9:00 at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Rd., Brookfield.
