Erna Unoval
July 21, 1929 - March 26, 2009
Erna (Sindelars) Unoval, of Danbury, wife of the late John Unoval, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, March 26th. She was born in Horni Litvinov, Czechoslovakia on July 21, 1929, daughter of the late Anton and Maria (Dvorcak) Sindelars. She was the last of nine siblings, all of whom immigrated to various parts of the world.
Mrs. Unoval worked as an assembler for American Radionics for thirty years and then Branson Ultrasonic until her retirement at age 65. She was a parishioner of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a member of AARP. She gained many friends with her outgoing personality, love of music and hearty laughter.
She will be sadly missed by her two daughters, Hanna Krauland and her husband Gerhard of Old Saybrook, and Brigitte C. Tartaglia and her husband, Anthony of Brookfield; her niece, Helga Groeschl of Germany and several other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bethel Health Care, and Connecticut Community Care for their support and compassionate care. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Wooster Cemetery Mausoleum on Thursday, April 2nd at 11:00am. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
