Liselotte van Eijnsbergen
April 19, 1922 - June 20, 2008
Liselotte -Lilo- (Beitzel) van Eijnsbergen, of Winding Road, Brookfield, died at Hancock Hall in Danbury on Friday, June 20th. She was the wife of the late Jack van Eijnsbergen. Lilo was born in Brilon, Germany on April 19, 1922, daughter of the late Fritz and Lina (Brocksiepe) Beitzel.
Prior to moving to Brookfield, she made her home in Indiana for more than 30 years. Before Indiana, she lived in Troy, Michigan, St. Gallen, Switzerland and Vancouver, British Columbia. Lilo was a gracious hostess, gourmet cook, avid gardener and talented potter, selling her own beautifully handmade pottery in Indiana.
She will be sadly missed by her two sons, Heiko van Eijnsbergen and his wife, Uta, Ralph van Eijnsbergen and his wife, Ellen, all of British Columbia, Canada; and her daughter, Astrid Chiavelli and her husband, James, with whom Lilo made her home in Brookfield. Her six beloved grandchildren, Randal, Chandra, Ryan and Jack van Eijnsbergen, Matthew Chiavelli, and Nicole Maher; her three great grandchildren; and her two sisters, Hannelore Walter-Kreft, and Brunhilde Goetz, of Germany, also survive her.
