George E. Visconti

George E. Visconti, age 68, of Bethel, died on December 30, 2006 at Danbury Hospital. He was the son of the late George and Mary (Dembrosky) Visconti.
He was born in Danbury on October 6, 1938 and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Visconti graduated from Danbury High School. He worked for the Connecticut Department of Transportation as a Tree Crew leader, retiring after 27 years of employment.
He is survived by his former wife, Kay (Hilgeman) Visconti; 2 step-daughters: Diana Breese-Krhla and her husband Robert of Wolcott and Lorri Hilton and her husband Charley of Roxbury; 3 sisters: Marie Sluti of Norwalk, Martha Best of Chipley, FL, Peggy Muehlfeld of Danbury; and a brother: Ted Visconti of Bethel; and several nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 6:00 PM at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 until the time of the service at 6:00. Cremation will take place at Charter Oak Crematory. Donations Information
