Linda Marie Waldo, 66, of Brookfield, beloved wife of Robert C. Waldo Jr. and mother of Victoria McClelland, died on Saturday, November 15th at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Danbury on February 9, 1948, daughter of the late Frank P. and Mabel M. (Moses) Perrotti.
Linda graduated from Danbury High School and attended Western Connecticut State University. She retired after more than 14 years at the Brookfield Board of Education, where she was the Administrative Assistant to the Director of Special Education. She worked for Davis & Geck for 27 years, starting as a clerk and working her way to supervisor of the Video Film Library. She also worked for the Town of Brookfield in Land Use office.
Linda was a Ham Radio Operator known by her call sign "KA1OLP". She enjoyed gardening and was an avid fan of Agatha Cristie movies and books. Linda adored her grandchildren.
In addition to her cherished husband, Robert of 33 years, and her daughter, she will be sadly missed by her son-in-law, Eugene McClelland; her two grandchildren Sophie Linne, and Audrey Rose; and her brother Thomas Perrotti and his wife Theresa of VA, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by her daughter Jessica Waldo, brother Francis Perrotti and sister Patricia Perrotti Rockwell. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 20th, at 5:00 pm at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield.
Family will receive friends on Thursday at the funeral home between the hours of 3:00 - 5:00 pm. Donations Information
