Mary (Muffatti) Wallace
March 03, 1918 - March 15, 2007
Mrs. Mary (Muffatti) Wallace, formerly of Vale Rd. Brookfield, wife of the late Frank R. Wallace, died peacefully in her sleep at Chestelm Health and Rehabilitation Center in East Haddam CT at age 89, on Thursday, March 15th. She was born in New York, NY on March 3, 1918, daughter of the late Stephen and Angelina (Cunio) Muffatti. She was a graduate of Danbury High School class of 1936.
Mrs. Wallace was employed as a pharmacist assistant at Caldor in Brookfield prior to her retirement. She loved all animals and was a member of the Humane Society.
She will be deeply missed by her son, Bruce Wallace and his wife, Joyce of East Haddam; along with her three grandchildren Daniel, Michael, and Caroline. She is also survived by her brother, Lou Muffatti, nephews Todd Muffatti and Tony Muffatti, nieces Sandy Muffatti and Lynn Potter, a number of other nieces and nephews, numerous grand nieces and nephews as well as many dear and caring friends. She was proceeded in death by two brothers, Tony Muffatti Sr. and Stephen Muffatti. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Saturday, March 24th at 11:00 am. A burial service will follow immediately at St. Peter Cemetery in Danbury.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 23rd between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
