Ernest Thomas Braun, age 62, of Thorpe St, Danbury, died on APril 20, 2005 at the West Haven Veteran's Hospital.
Mr. Braun was born in Danbury on January 10, 1943, son of the late Ernest M. and Elizabeth (Bednar) Braun. A life long Danbury resident, he was a graduate of Danbury High School. Mr. Braun served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Vietnam. He was a machinist and was a past member of the Concordia Society of Danbury.
He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Sousa and her hsuband, Joe of Danbury; as sister, Barbara Goldberg of Washinton, CT; three grandchildren; Jose, Matthew, and Isabelle Sousa; a nephew, Michael Goldberg of Washington and three nieces, Cindy Whitney of St. Louis, MO, Lizbeth Goldberg of Glastonbury, and Barbara Goldberg of Maplewood, NJ. Cremation at Charter Oak Crematory will be at the convenience of the family. A Graveside Service with full military honors will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd at 1:30pm at St. Peter Cemetery, Danbury. Donations Information
