Obituary of Linda D. Ward

Linda D. Ward December 15, 2005 Linda D. (Leavy) Ward, 64, died at the Danbury Hospital on Dec. 15, 2005. She was a resident of Pocono Road in Brookfield since 1968. Mrs. Ward was born in Yonkers, N.Y., daughter of the late Francis And Marion (Sherman) Leavy. She retired in 2005 from the Brookfield school system where she worked for over 20 years in the administration department. Mrs. Ward was a devoted mother and grandmother and centered her life upon her family and close friends. She leaves to cherish her memory her three sons, Roger W. Ward and his wife, Kim, from Wolcott; Tyler J. Ward and his wife, Karen, of New Ipswich N.H., and William F. Ward and his wife, Lynn, of New York City; her four grandchildren, Kyle, Colleen, Erin and Oliver Ward. Funeral Information Friends may call at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road in Brookfield on Monday Dec. 19, 2005, from 5 to 7 p.m. Cremation will take place at the convenience of the family.
