Helen Wells Warner, age 91, of Danbury, wife of the late Harlin L. Warner, died March 3, 2007.
Helen obtained her BS in Education from Central Missouri State University in 1938 and her Masters from Oklahoma State University and Western Connecticut State University in 1970. She was a teacher for 25 years and retired from Bethel High School in 1980.
In keeping with her love of teaching, she also taught piano lessons and enjoyed painting.
Helen was affiliated with Central Christian Church in Danbury, which led to deaconship, a member of the bell choir, and a member of the Outreach Committee and Sewing group.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan of Danbury, her son Harlin Warner and his wife, Judy of Brookfield, and her son-in-law, Jack Brennan of Warwick, RI. She is also survived by grandchildren, Brendan and his wife, Yasuko, Zachary, Brie, Morgan and Adrienne; as well as two great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Harlin, she was predeceased by her daughter, Patricia Brennan. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 2:00pm at Central Christian Church, 71 West Street, Danbury.
There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
