Julia Elizabeth Warnken

Julia Elizabeth (Van Allen) Warnken, age 89, formerly of Bear Mountain Road, New Fairfield, wife of the late William P. Warnken, Sr., died peacefully at Pope John Paul Center for Healthcare on Tuesday, February 12th. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on July 13, 1918, daughter of the late John and Marie (Bovasso) Van Allen.
Mrs. Warnken was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield, and was very active in the Ladies Guild. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her son, William P. Warnken, Jr. of Sunapee, NH; her daughter, Marie E. Gibson and her husband, David A. of Katonah, NY; and her two grandchildren, Sara A. and David P. Gibson of Katonah, NY. She is also survived by her sister, Catherine Sullivan of Massapequa, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 16th at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Mountainview Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
