Cornelia Best (Morehouse) Wildman, age 90, of Whitney Ave., Danbury died on Thursday, July 08, 2004 at Danbury Hospital. She was the wife of the late Edward T. Wildman, Sr.
Mrs. Wildman was born in Danbury on May 18, 1914, a daughter of the late David Meeker and Miriam (Haverly) Morehouse. She was brought up in Brookfield and was a graduate of Danbury High School Class of 1933B. Mrs. Wildman was an active member St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Brookfield Grange.
Mrs. Wildman is survived by a son: Edward T. Wildman, Jr. and his wife Loretta of Brookfield, PA; a daughter: Virginia Benton of Danbury; a brother: Daniel Morehouse of Brookfield, CT; 4 grandchildren: Brenda Jennifer, Yvonne, David and Laurie as well as 5 great grandchildren: Rebekah, Josh, Tabitha, Harlee, and Tyler. She was predeceased by a sister I. Hazel Wheeler and a brother David M. Morehouse, Jr. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2004 at 1:00pm at St. James Episcopal Church, Banks Memorial Chapel, 25 West St., Danbury. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
