Obituary of Edna Williams

Edna Williams May 07, 1924 - December 12, 2008 Edna (Culhane) Williams, age 84, of Danbury, wife of the late Dr. Roger Williams, MD. died at Danbury Hospital on Friday, December 12th. She was born in Danbury on May 7, 1924, daughter of the late Walter and Edna (Gallagher) Culhane. Mrs. Williams worked as a telephone operator for AT&T, and later as a secretary for her husband, Dr. Roger Williams. She was an avid horseback rider, and in her high school years she was a star basketball player. She was a strong willed woman who loved her family and her dogs, Trudy and Snoop. She will be sadly missed by her granddaughters, Karen Natale and her fiancé, Robert Newton of Bethel, and Cynthia Natale of Danbury; as well as five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Services will be held privately.
