Sharon Lee (Pettit) Bricker, 53, died at Skaggs Memorial Hospital in Branson, MO. on December 22, 2005 after a three year courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Gary S. Bricker and was a former resident of Oxford and Bethel.
Mrs. Bricker was born in Danbury on September 4, 1952, daughter of Barbara (Fillow) Repko and the late Roland Pettit. She graduated from Bethel High School and was co-owner and operator of Valley View Construction Company in Bethel. She was formerly employed as a corporate secretary for Burndy Corp in Bethel.
Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and daughter. She enjoyed being with her family and was the center of all activities, especially with her two grandsons. She loved to read and travel.
Besides her loving husband, Gary of Branson, MO.; she is survived by her devoted mother, Barbara and her husband Stephen of Bethel; her loving daughter Jennifer Rousseau and her husband of David of Bethel and their children David and Derek Rousseau. She is also survived by her brother Keith Pettit of Branson, MO; and her three stepbrothers, Stephen Repko and Kenny Repko, both of Waterbury, and Robert Repko of Cheshire.
Sharon was predeceased by her brother, Kevin Pettit. Funeral Information
Cremation took place in Branson, MO. A Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, January 8th at 2:00pm at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury. Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home on Sunday between the hours of 1:00 and 3:00pm.
