Bianca Zancan

Bianca (Bortolussi) Zancan, age 86, of Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, wife of the late Domenico Zancan, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Thursday. She was born in Travesio, Italy on November 9, 1921, daughter of the late Valentino and Cecelia Bortolussi.
Mrs. Zancan was a homemaker who lovingly maintained the family home for her husband and three sons. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Danbury. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and was an accomplished seamstress.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, Walter L. Zancan and his wife Carrie of Hamilton, OH, Dennis D. Zancan and his wife, Anna of Danbury, and Dominic J. Zancan and his wife, Maura of Brookfield; her seven grandchildren, Sara, Caroline, Wally, Dennis, Alex, Betheney and Brenden; and one great granddaughter, Emma. She is also survived by her sister, Antonia Braida, with whom she made her home; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 19th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Monday between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
