Robert Bridges

Robert Wentworth Bridges, Sr. of Mist Hill Drive, Brookfield, devoted husband of Jinky (Gozun) Bridges, died at the Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, September 10th at the age of 60. He was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on December 5, 1942, son of the late Herbert and Annette (French) Bridges.
Mr. Bridges was a graduate of Winnacunnet High School, Class of 1961, in Hampton, NH. He received his Associates Degree in Drafting Electrical Design from New Hampshire Technical Institute. He worked as a Senior Draftsman for Branson Ultrasonics in Danbury for eleven years.
Mr. Bridges was a proud citizen of the United States. He showed his patriotism in supporting American made products and flying the American Flag gloriously at his home. He enjoyed Classic Car Shows and his 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS396-325 Convertible. He loved watching NASCAR Racing on Sundays and keeping up to date with all the current politics.
Besides his cherished wife of ten years, he will be sadly missed by his loving daughter, Kim Bridges of Danbury, and son, Robert W. Bridges, Jr. of Florida. He was predeceased by his brother, Steven Bridges. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will take place at the family home, 53 Mist Hill Drive, Brookfield, on Saturday, September 20th at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements. Donations Information
