Eleanor (Hopkins) Brockett, 90, of Brookfield, wife of the late Frank H. Brockett, Sr., died at her home on Wednesday, January 20th. She was born in West Haven on March 31, 1919, daughter of the late Lester and Marie Hopkins.
Mrs. Brockett was a longtime member of the Congregational Church of Brookfield and enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was the Director of Volunteers at Danbury Hospital for many years.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Ted Brockett and his wife, Stephanie of Sammamish, WA; her daughter, Judy Piccolo and her husband, Italo, of Croton on Hudson, NY; her five grandchildren, Kerrie McArthur and her husband, Scott, Kevin Brockett and his wife, Marissa, Donald Brockett, Michelle Piccolo-Hill and her husband, Tom, and Christian Piccolo and his wife, Lizzie. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren, Tavish, Gillian, Parker, Bixby, Walker, Julie and Caroline. Funeral Information
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 25th at 12:00pm at the Congregational Church of Brookfield. There are no calling hours. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. Donations Information
