Obituary of George C. Browne

George C. Browne January 24, 1914 - January 29, 2004 George C. Browne, 90, of the Villiage at Brookfield Commons, died on Thursday, January 29th at Danbury Hospital. He was born in New Rochelle, NY, on January 24, 1914, son of the late Patrick and Marie (Crane) Browne. Mr. Browne worked for Burndy Electronics. He enjoyed traveling and attended St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield. He is survived by a sister, Lorraine Emmerson of New Rochelle, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church on Tuesday, February 3rd, 10:00am. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, is in charge of arrangements.
