Obituary of Marinella E. Butkowsky

Marinella E. Butkowsky June 12, 1948 - November 11, 2006 Marinella E. (van der Goes) Butkowsky, 58, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center on Saturday, November 11th. She was born in Jakarta, Indonesia on June 12, 1948, daughter of the late John T. and Rose (Peele) van der Goes. She worked for Barden Corp and Boehringer Ingleheim. She was a loving mother who dedicated herself to raising her family and maintaining the family home. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Dawn McManus and her husband, William, of New Canaan; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Rose McManus; her sister, Yolanda Cote; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Desiree E. Butkowsky. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 20th at 10:00am at St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield. Burial in Mountain View Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Sunday, November 19th between the hours of 3:00 and 6:00pm.
