Aldina R. Caprio, age 94, formerly of Third St., Danbury died on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at The Kent Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Joseph T. Caprio.
Mrs. Caprio was born in Methuen, MA on August 26, 1910. She was raised in Massachusetts moving to the Danbury area as a young child. She was employed by the State of Connecticut as a seamstress at Fairfield Hills Hospital. She was a volunteer for the Red Cross and was a member of the Danbury Senior Citizens. Mrs. Caprio was a long time parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church. She was an excellent homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and being with her family.
Mrs. Caprio is survived by a daughter, Adrienne Zullo of Gaylordsville; twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son Joseph T. Caprio and a daughter Joan M. Youngberg; a brother Adolph Baltuskonis and a sister Clementine Principe. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at 10:00 am at St. Gregory the Great Church. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, May 13, 2005 from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury.
