Yuk Chun Chan, age 94, of Danbury, died on Sunday, January 2, 2005 at Danbury Hospital.
Mrs. Chan was born on March 12, 1910 in China. She immigrated to the United States on Memorial Day, 1963. Mrs. Chan worked as a seamstress for Kaufman Manufacturing and then at Lee & Angie Dress Shop. She really enjoyed going to bingo, cooking and gardening. A kind hearted woman, Mrs. Chan was always willing and available to help others - especially members of her family.
Mrs. Chan is survived by her devoted and loving daughter, Fay Wong, wife of the late Mon S. Wong; a granddaughter and grandson-in-law: Lillian and Nick Bologna; a granddaughter-in-law, Diana Wong, wife of the late Danny Wong; 7 great grandchildren: Bruce and Missy MacIntyre, Mon MacIntyre, Sasha and Joseph Barata, III, Elaine, Ann Marie, Daniel, and Michael Wong; 5 great great grandchildren: Kristopher, Abagail and Krystal MacIntyre, and Cynthia and Emily Barata. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2005 at 11:00 am at the Cornell Memorial, 247 White St., Danbury. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 until the time of the service at 11:00. Donations Information
