Dorothy T. (Ceperley) Clady, 76, of New Milford, died peacefully at New Milford Hospital on Sunday, September 16th. She was the wife of the late Donald Clady. She was born in Little Falls, NY on October 20, 1930, daughter of the late Clifford E. and Theresa M. (Molinaro) Ceperley. She made her home in New Milford for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Clady worked as a waitress for Marcus Dairy for 20 years. She was a longtime friend of the biker and car community.
Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, and she loved Elvis Presley. She also loved watching sports.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Diana L. Baumgardener of Winsted, Sandra J. Plank (Charles H.), Donald C. Clady, Jr. (Patricia), Karen M. Ward (Jay T.), Michael A. Clady, all of New Milford, and Kathleen Jasmin (David) of Torrington; seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Eugene (Alice) Ceperley of New Milford; her sister, Barbara Millard of Ohio; her brother-in-law, William Pullan of Bethel; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home on Friday at 10:00am with Rev. Terry W. Pfeiffer of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel, will follow.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
