Louise S. Clarkson

Louise S. Clarkson, formerly of Holly Street Extension, Danbury, wife of the late Albert Clarkson, died at Danbury Hospital on Monday, November 10th. She was born in Danbury on August 15, 1916, daughter of the late Alexander and Irene (Donofrio) Trocola. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church.
Mrs. Clarkson worked in the hatting industry for Frank H. Lee Hat Co for nearly 30 years, and finished her working career as an assembler for National Semiconductor. She loved to read, garden, play cards and bingo. She was an excellent cook and loving homemaker who raised her nephew, Kenneth as her own.
In addition to Kenneth Adams and his wife, Annette of Alpharetta, GA, she will be sadly missed by her brother, Daniel Trocola of Danbury; her granddaughters who lovingly called her "Nana", Amy Samuelson, Ella Adams-MacLeod, and Beth Spak; six great grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brother, Vincent Trocola; and three sisters, Mary Saviano, Victoria Plisko, and Evelyn Adams-Mulvihill. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 14th at 10:30am at St. Gregory the Great Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday evening between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm.
