Michael J. Cordisco

Michael J. Cordisco, 65, of Sunrise Lake, Florida, formerly of Brookfield, beloved husband of Gloria (DeStefano) Cordisco, died on Saturday, December 23rd. He was born in the Bronx, NY, on January 20, 1941, son of the late Michael A., and Anna (Annunziata) Cordisco.
Mr. Cordisco worked as an insurance adjustor. He was a past parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church in New Fairfield and St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church in Brookfield.
He was a devoted family man who loved the holidays and cooking for his family. He was very proud of his two sons. He was a loving son-in-law to his late mother-in-law, Rose DeStefano.
In addition to his wife, Gloria, he will be sadly missed by his two sons, Michael and his wife, Carrie Ann, and Jeffrey Cordisco, all of Brookfield; his two grandsons, Justin and Nathaniel Cordisco. He is also survived by his sister, Rose Miressi and her husband Joseph of Stamford; his sister-in-law, Rita Tuohy of New Milford; his loving niece, Nanette Cicilline of Cranston, RI; his brother-in-law, Donald DeStefano of New Jersey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his most beloved sister, Antoinette Maniero. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 29th at 10:00am at St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church, Brookfield. Internment in Ferncliff Mausoleum, Hartsdale, NY will follow.
The family will receive friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Thursday, December 28th between the hours of 2:00 - 4:00pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. Donations Information
