Ann Cornell
December 31, 1923 - December 27, 2007
Ann (Latona) Cornell, age 83, of Maple Avenue, Ext., Bethel, cherished wife of 62 years to the late William L. Cornell, died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, December 27th. She was born in North Arlington, NJ on December 31, 1923, daughter of the late Vincent and Josephine Latona.
Mrs. Cornell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who devoted herself to her family. She was a faith filled woman who enjoyed studying the Bible.
She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Bethel, and a past member of the Brookfield Senior Center and Amerigo Vespucci Lodge.
She will be sadly missed by her son, William L. Cornell and his wife, Kay of Louisville, KY; her two daughters, Linda Cornell of Bethel, Sandi Murray and Ann's beloved son-in-law, Bob of New Milford; her seven grandchildren, Bill and Michael Cornell, Amanda Bloom, Tina, Emily, Kelly and Robert Murray, Jr.; her two great grandchildren, Michael and Marcus Cornell. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Lillian Vallely of Brookfield as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Dennis Bloom. Funeral Information
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 31st at 1:00pm at the First Congregational Church of Bethel. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury on Sunday, December 30th between the hours of 12:00 and 3:00pm. Donations Information
