Concetta Corona

Concetta (Pannozzo) Corona, of Bethel, wife of the late Anthony Corona, Sr., died in Kent on Saturday, December 16th. She was born in Staten Island, NY on December 8, 1907, daughter of the late John and Amila Pannozzo.
Mrs. Corona was a longtime member of the Bethel community, making her home there for 50 years. She worked in production for General Electric in Bridgeport.
She was a parishioner of St. Mary Church in Bethel.
She will be sadly missed by her three sons, Anthony Corona, Jr., and his wife, Shirley of Danbury, John Corona of Bethel, and Ronald Corona and his wife, Jennifer of Bethel; her daughter, Mildred Corona of Danbury; and her three grandchildren: Donnie Corona and his wife Janice, Gary Corona and his wife Christine, Anthony Corona III and his wife Cristina; and a great granddaughter Amanda. She is also survived by her sister, Laura Sciessere of New York as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her beloved husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Tomaino. Funeral Information
Funeral will be conducted from Cornell Memorial Home on Thursday, December 21st at 9:15 am to St. Mary Church, Bethel for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow. We give God all glory and honor and thank Him for His eternal promise of life everafter.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Wednesday, December 20th between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00pm. Donations Information
