Jose Antonio "Tony" Cruz age 50 of Southern Boulevard, Danbury devoted husband of Linda (Guzman) Cruz died at Yale New Haven Hospital on December 10, 2004 unexpectedly. Mr. Cruz was born on July 14, 1954 in Santurce, Puerto Rico the son of Barney and Carman (Lopez) Morse.
In his early years Tony attended and graduated High School and later obtained his Associates degree. He worked at I.B.M. in Fishkill, NY as an electric technician.
Mr. Cruz was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Danbury and also a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed Karata in his spare time and was a fan of science fiction especially Star Trek. Tony also enjoyed western movies, and particularly those featuring John Wayne.
Tony will sadly missed by his loving wife, Linda of Danbury and his mother Carman Morse of Bronx, NY. His two sons: Christopher B. Cruz and Jason A. Cruz both of Danbury. Tony is preceded in death by his father: Barney Morse. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church in Danbury. Friends may call on the family at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street in Danbury on Tuesday from the hours of 3:00PM - 5:00PM and again from 7:00PM - 9:00PM. Interment will be in St. Peter Cemetery.
